There was a survey conducted in a recent high school asking them their beliefs on different questions regarding the rich, middle class and poor. This survey prove that there is no such thing as equality in this country. One of the questions that was ask was "How much of the nation's wealth do you believe the poorest of Americans own?" Seventy percent of those high school students believe that the poorest own less than one percent. Think about that for a second. It is fair to assume that one-third of the America's population would consist of poor. With that in mind there are 320,898,410 living in America. So just about 106,966,1367 are poor. So to think that those people own less than 1 percent is really astonishing. In the same similar questions ask to those high schooler about the wealthiest Americas, 34 percent of them believe they own more than sixty percent.

In the same survey, the high schoolers where as "How much education should children of the poorest of Americans have access to?" Thirty-eight percent believe that the poorest of Americans should have free education throughout all of high school and the first four years of college. A similar question was asked about the weathiest of Americans. The response was as I expect it to be. Seventy percent believe that they should only get free education up to the 12th grade. With that being said how can there be true inequality where we aren't equal in opportunity.

These astonishing numbers are not only present in the views of teenager but also in adults. In a random U.S Survey asking adults how satisfied they are with the wealth distribution 67% were dissatisfied. Therefore this problem is view in all eyes cross America.

What is equality? How does one nation or  a Culture achieve equality? I believe as long as we have different races, gender, ethics, and religion there will never be a such thing as equality. Equality is not as simple a 2 equals 2 in the math world. Trying to reach equality is more like trying to touch the moon from earth, that is how far true Equality is from human civilization. I look around me all I see is prejudice towards different races, gender, and religion. Because of those prejudices it leads to unfair treatment towards one another. Thus that leads me to believe that this world is not equal. We all are not equal and we will never be.

There two ways in which we can try to fix the problem. The first is to start all over again. I don't mean back to the Bill of Rights days or Egyptian days. I means starting from the beginning during the cave man days, where civilization just began. From there we can remove all ideas and concept that has anything to do will power. So there will be no money, kings and queen nor warriors. With that everybody can be equal in power and can control their own lives. We can go a step further by give every man and women even amount of land. That land can be past down from generation to generation. With everybody having the same amount of land and no such thing as money there would be no point of having war. One of the main reasons for having wars and battles back then was to gain land and with land comes power. And with power comes control. Once you have the power to control peoples lives the idea of Equality goes flying out the window. But think about can we will go back in time and do such things.

My second solution to fix this problem is having scientist to create a chip or a small device that will go inside our bodies that will control how we think, speak and act. Once that device is created we can give it to every human on earth, even new born babies. With this device there can be guidelines to how to speak or act in certain situations to prevent prejudice. Not only that but that will allow everybody to have the same skill and education. With no more prejudice towards one another there will be no hate towards and we can treat each other the same. Thus we can reach true equality where we all see each other as equals.
